Chaislyn Jane King (born March 30, 2001), best known as Chaislyn, is an American singer-songwriter and actress based in Louisiana. Chaislyn planted her roots in her local musical theatre scene ever since she was young, playing the caterpillar in a production of Alice in Wonderland at age 9, and later multiple other characters over the years, such as Ariel in The Little Mermaid, Teen Fiona in Shrek: The Musical and Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz. She made her official debut in music at the young age of 17 with the ballad 'Little Did I Know' in 2018, which was originally the fifth and last track of an EP called 'With Love' that has since been made unavailable on streaming platforms. In the years that followed, she would experiment with various sounds, but generally stay in the pop scene. Her single 'Make Believe' is her most successful release to date, reaching more than a million monthly listeners on Spotify. She made her debut on screen with the christian musical 'Teen Musical: The Movie' as CJ, in 2020.
